NEW SEASON 2008-2009
15-11-08
Daganham III 47 East London III 5
Home League
Coming from a defeat is never easy but that is exactly what was needed
from the D's and that is what was delivered in a strong style.
The Dagrnham 3's never looked out of shape and with the return of some
key players.
An early try run in gave Dagenham the edge and confidence that they
needed and they never looked back.
By the time half time had come we were ahead and East London didn't seem
to be giving us any problems.
In the second half East London seemed determined to get some points and threw everything including the kitchen sink at us bet they were kept out and we cleared our lines only to see a glimpse of strong running from their centers and East London scored their only points.
The third team now have two matches that do not affect their league position (or commonly known as friendlies but you bet your life that is not how our oppositions will be seeing it.)
Trys: Danny Francis 2, Jack Pearce 3, Joe Fenn 2, Jack Knowlden, Tash, Alex Ashburn (Conv)

Dagenham III 39 - 0 Kings X Steelers
Home League
Dagenham started strong from the off, going over in the corner nice and
early, we had tasted blood and we wanted more, it came soon after as
the tries seemed to just keep on coming.
Tries were being run by our backs running clever and strong lines,
nobody could catch them and our forwards were so dominating but King X
Steelers didn't just roll over and give the tries they threw everything
at us and we just soaked up the pressure.
The second half the D's went a bit quite which worried me until a
brilliant try went over the line by some brilliant work from our
forwards, every single forward was involved it was a great sight.
A good result which we hope to build on.
Next week sees the third team play South Woodham Ferres at home in a friendly, sorry a mean a match that does affect our league position.

Runwell II 26 - 38 Dagenham III
Away League
Dagenham had some ghosts to lay to rest after last week's result and
they delivered in style.
The D's got on the scoreboard nice and early and never looked back.
Runwell were a decent team and very physical, but that was not a problem
to the Central Park men, who battle on and delivered some big tackles of
their own, to make some Runwell players think twice about coming at them.
After half time Runwell found a few sparks and scored a few times, but in true Dagenham style we dug deep and went on to victory.
Trys : Billy, Josh, Craig, Jack P 2, Shadi 2

Billericay III 66 - 0 Dagenham III
Away League
The game started at a fast Pace, with Billericay scoring in the first minutes which left the D's reeling which they never really recovered.
Billericay seemed to be scoring with ease but Dagenham could not find the try line, Dagenham can take heart that this is a team that has not played together before which at times really did show, it didn't help that we only had 14 players.
The D's done us proud by never giving up and showed true spirit. Runwell better watch out next week as we will be looking for revenge.
